1.) absence of serial interface:: Both serial interfaces of my PC are occupied
by a analog modem and a "mouse" respectively my portable PC (laptop)
doesn't make a serial interface available. Can I connect the iks aquastar
to the PC anyway ? If your PC has a USB-interface, you can make an additional serial interface available to the PC with the iks USB adapter for serial interface (data cable) over the USB-port. Besides the COM1 und COM2 interface you can also choose the COM3 interface. The iks USB adapter is available at iks ComputerSysteme GmbH. The device driver for Windows XP, 7, 8 or 10 is available here: Download => Support and Download.
